It went down your throat.
Why would it affect your eyebrows?

Re: Colonoscopy
When you've had a cystoscopy, a camera down your throat doesn't even raise an eyebrow with me.

Got my meeting in August. A little particularly troublesome case of farmers (well one) causing grief. Don't know what to expect but proper scared. Eaten nothing but fruit and veg and nuts for 6 weeks and still fucking agony some days

Re: Colonoscopy
Pocolax made me projectile vomit . Had quite a few colonoscopies due to colon cancer but it's nothing compared to
having tubes stuck down your nose , down your throat to the Stomache . Nurse said if I didn't have it I could die as I was vomiting black bile . It was so painful / uncomfortable I told her I'd rather die and made her take it out !

Re: Colonoscopy
It's amazing how much shit the human body can put up with.

The first time I had an endoscopy (camera down the throat) I thought it was the most dreadful thing that had ever happened to me. By the third or fourth it hardly bothered me at all.

About a year ago I had a doctor's finger up my bum and I nearly hit the roof as it was the first time anything had entered from that direction. I had to try and put suppositories up there and it made me feel sick. After about 3 days I could almost do it in my sleep.

I've always had an aversion to needles but when my blood didn't clot properly I had to inject myself with a hypodermic needle full of Heparon. Now if I need an injection I take it off the nurse and do it myself.

What most people forget is that by the time you're having to do this you've been in discomfort for a while so you can get yourself motivated to try and get better.

Like I say, we've got a great capacity to put up with medical shit. We endure.

I'm used to having a sore arse because of my healthy diet(!!!), but the gagging thing with the throat looked crap.

Picolax

*shudders*

As someone's said- make NO plans that involve going more than 10 feet from a toilet the day you use that fucking stuff.

Re: Colonoscopy
Grumps, funnily enough it was the other way round for me, mouth ok but the arse gave me horrible cramps because of the air they pump in

Re: Colonoscopy
Arse is a doddle compared to the throat and nose cough.

Hopefully never have that pleasure, as watching my dad have it after his heart attacks was fucking grim viewing indeed.

Had it done both ends a couple of months ago, beware the Picolax and make sure you're always near the khazi

Re: Colonoscopy
I quite enjoyed it.

16 hour lager session followed by a curry the day before and then played football in the morning to jiggle it all around before going to Old Church hospital.

3 women doing it and I made the mistake of asking to face the TV screen to watch as I was interested.

Red face as they were nudging the camera through the mounds of diarrhea desperate to escape my arse and 9 minutes later after injecting all my farmers, I was farting like a trooper in their faces as it pumps air inside you while it goes along until you have no choice.

Marvellous the poor sods.
